Beats By Dre Solo HD

I recently purchased Monster’s Beats by Dre Solo HD headphones.  In the box I received a control talk cable, a couple of pamphlets and a cloth to clean the headphones with.  The headphones were in the carrying case along with another cable which was not a control talk wire.  The wire’s that came with the headphones are very durable and tangle free, which is definitely a big plus.  The Solo HD’s have a glossy finish to them and actually look about as stylish as headphones can get.

The sound quality blew me away.  I was very skeptical at first because I thought it was just getting hyped because they were Monster Cable brand and had Dre’s name on it.  The name fits the headphones perfectly; the beat that these produce is nothing short of amazing.  The sound is very clear and the bass makes you feel like you have your own personal subwoofer with you.

One thing that I was worried about was comfort over time.  I can tell you I had the beats on for about 3 hours the other night and didn’t feel the slightest bit of discomfort.  These are on ear headphones so they won’t be as comfortable as over the ear like the Beats by Dre Studios, but the cushy padding on these headphones make them easy to wear for hours.

Well guys that’s all for now I do plan on putting up a couple videos here in the near future and will do a complete un-boxing of the Solo HD’s so you guys can take a look at everything that is suppose to come in the box.  Hopefully I can get my hands on some Studios so that I can compare these two products for you guys.
